"An AFSC [American Friends Service Committee] Primer on Drones: Waging Peace in The Deadly Era of Drone Warfare and Surveillance..." -- A Video Slideshow presentation on what you should know and can do, presented by Peter Lems and Tory Smith, AFSC staff.

Pastors & Leaders Breakfast: "Proactive Pastorship--On Becoming a Church Invested in Racial Justice". This brief presentation will outline steps pastors can take toward empowering themselves and their churches in the work of racial justice. Cost: $7, includes buffet breakfast.

Martin Luther King Day of Nonviolent Resistance to Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin is the U.S.'s #1 military contractor and nuclear weapons producer, and a chief manufacturer of drone warfare technology.

Annual meeting of Lancaster Interchurch Peace Witness (LIPW)
Keynote: "After the War..." by Titus Peachey, Peace Educator, Mennonite Central Committee U.S., followed by discussion on of the human, environmental and economic impact of war. Titus has worked with international agencies on removal of unexploded cluster bombs since 1994. He and his wife Linda were in relief and development work in Laos, 1980-85.
This event introduces the LIPW focus for 2014, "The military produces enough greenhouse gases by itself to place the entire globe, with all its inhabitants large and small, in the most imminent danger of extinction. ... " -- Barry Sanders in The Green Zone.

March 29, 2014 (Saturday, 12n-2pm) Horsham, PA.
Monthly protests resume at Reaper Drone Command Center at the Horsham Air National Guard Station, where a drone war command center is set to open sometime this year under the direction of the Air National Guard and the Pentagon. This center will control UAV's armed with deadly Hellfire missiles and Paveway bombs against human beings thousands of miles away.
Location: Outside the Base entrance at the intersection of Easton Road (Rt. 611) and County Line Road (Horsham, PA). There are links to more detailed information here.
December 13, 2014 (Saturday: Nazareth to Bethlehem, PA)
55th Annual Christmas Peace Pilgrimage This annual pilgrimage recalls the journey of Mary and Joseph. Participants meet in Bethlehem at 10:45am, and buses transport pilgrims to Nazareth Moravian Church on Center Square where the Pilgrimage begins. Pilgrims may join at any point along the way. The pilgrimage concludes at Christ United Church of Christ in Bethlehem, around 5:30 for a light meal and rally. .
